     Parish Center Hours:  Monday through Friday 9:00AM to 5:00PM, 

Closed from 12:30PM to 1:30PM for lunch

Directions to the Parish:From Manhattan/Nassau - LIE (495) to Exit 51 North to Route 231 (Deer Park Avenue)

OR Northern State Parkway to Exit 42 North to Route 231. 

Deer Park Avenue to (Route 231) North to County Road 66.  County Road 66 to Jericho Turnpike (Route 25)  

East on Route 25, three lights to Elwood Road.  LEFT onto Elwood (begin moving to far left left lane)

North on Elwood approx. 4 miles to Route 25A (also known as Fort Salonga Rd.)

Cross Fort Salonga Road onto Resevoir Avenue

Continue on Resevoir until it merges left with Church Street.  St. Philips is on the corner of Church and Main St. (Right Hand Side) Parking in schoolyard on Prosepect AvenueDirections

CELEBRATION OF THE SACRAMENTS

EUCHARIST:

Monday-Friday- 9:00AM

Liturgy of  the Lord's Day: Saturday - 5:00PM;  Sunday -8:00AM,  9:30AM, 11:30AM,  &  5:00PM

Holy Day Schedule: when a Holy Day falls during the week  the Masses will be at      9:00AM, 5:00 PM, 7:30 PM the day of the Holy Day.

RECONCILIATION:

Saturday 4:15- 4:45PM & by Appointment

BAPTISMS:

2nd & 4th Sundays at 1 PM

Please contact Sr. Grace at least 6 months prior to the birth to schedule an interview. A Baptism class (held on the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM in the Parish Center) is required for all first time parents.

WEDDINGS:

Please call the Parish Center to arrange an interview one year in advance of the projected date.

RCIA (The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults):

The way in which adults join the Church. Persons interested in becoming Catholics are invited to contact any member of our Parish Staff at the Parish Center (261-2485, ext 100).

 

ABOUT SAINT PHILIP NERI:

St. Philip Neri was a priest whom the people nicknamed the Saint of Joy because God had gifted him with a special sense of humor. His smile went with him when he visited the sick and the imprisoned, and when he served pilgrims who traveled to Rome.
